JLD
This weekend I went on my JLD retreat to The Spirit of the West in good ole Tioga, Texas. I know, I know it sounds completely cheesy, but I really did have a wonderful time. It was very similar to a sorority retreat filled with way too many to even count getting to know each other games, but I totally get why they do them. I met some really cool, fun people that I have a lot in common with! What can be better than that - meeting and making new friends! The JLD has over 5,000 members, so it will be so nice to walk into a meeting and see familiar faces. I am very excited about being a member. I can already tell the incredible support system the JLD provides for its members and camaraderie between the members. My provisional project gets started soon, and it’ll be fun to get to know those ladies too! Oh, and I can’t forget to mention the upcoming parties and events! The auction and casino party is November 13 at Union Station with a shot at the door, 80’s band, lots of dancing, good food and I can already tell lots of good laughs! I am buying my ticket today!
